    Kiwi abroad
I am from NZ but have lived in the UK for the last 14 years. From Palmerston North originally and family still mainly there. Went to uni is Dunedina nd lived in Wellington for a few years before coming this way.
Interested to hear how you find the health system and cancer treatments- not sure if treatments are restricted much these days there and how much access there is to more specialist treatments like cyberkinfe. Would be interseted to hear your experience.

    Hi Steve, my mum was
Hi Steve, my mum was diagnosed last year with stage 1V colon cancer, removed a huge obstructing tumor, chemo for 6th months as there was some spread in abdomen then NED all was going well then last couple of weeks after a scan they found a few spots back in the abdo and one in the lung... apparently they are small ( about the size of your pinky fingertip) and they refer to them as spots... although i dont know what this means... I havent heard of cyberknife here as of yet although i dont think we are at that stage of treatment. Mum is off to oz for a holiday then will be back for chemo consisiting of an infusion of something.. then folfiri i think pump for 48 hours? i didnt really take much in this time although im sure all will be well again its just such a rollercoaster isnt it!!!
