LAST DAY OF CHEMO TODAY!!

First milestone done today, chemo is over. It did kick my butt this time, even thought they put it over 3 days instead of 2. I thinking the having to get up every 2 hours all night to pee is wearing me out. But at least this is over. Tomorrow is just Iv fluids. They put me on break from radiation until at least Monday as my skin is peeling and very red. So hopefully August 3rd will be the day for me to do my happy dance and be done with radiation too!

chemo has ended
Hi boardwalkgirl,
Last day of chemo, you might have the start of a country song in there.
I am happy to hear you made it this far and are not feeling too bad. I’ve gotten kind of use to the pee in the middle of night thing. Since I drink water constantly, there is really no getting around it. As for the peeling, red neck, if it is burned the Silver Sulfadiazine cream is fabulously good. Helps it heal and takes away all the pain. It is a bit messy, but my goodness it helped me.
Happy dance just around the corner.
Best,
Matt -
