I went to my local Y to do some water aerobics,,,haven't been there in a very long time. My instuctor told me that in the fall they will have exercises for cancer patients as they received a grant from Live Strong Foundation. I encourage you to look into this at your local Y and see if they offer this. I have been wishing for something like this...Val

I went through
the Living Strong/Living Well program offered by Stanford University at a Y near my home. I attended the spring 2011 group. I am still going on weekly hikes with the leader and a few others. I was told last week that since I have a recurrence I can attend the program a second time.
I did not continue with the strength training although I did join the Y. That was a mistake because I am sure I would have been so much stronger by now. But I enjoyed the program and met some great people.
