The Cancer Survivors Network (CSN) is a peer support community for cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, families, and friends! CSN is a safe place to connect with others who share your interests and experiences.
Thank you for being a part of the Cancer Survivor Network community. Survivors and caregivers like you have played a unique role in fostering an online environment that encourages connection among those needing support, community, and education. On May 28, the Network will be discontinued. More details are available here . If you have any questions, contact CSNSupportTeam@cancer.org. Thanks again for the support you’ve provided each other over the years. We remain committed to supporting you in other ways throughout your cancer journey.

I went to my local Y to do some water aerobics,,,haven't been there in a very long time. My instuctor told me that in the fall they will have exercises for cancer patients as they received a grant from Live Strong Foundation. I encourage you to look into this at your local Y and see if they offer this. I have been wishing for something like this...Val

I went through
the Living Strong/Living Well program offered by Stanford University at a Y near my home. I attended the spring 2011 group. I am still going on weekly hikes with the leader and a few others. I was told last week that since I have a recurrence I can attend the program a second time.
I did not continue with the strength training although I did join the Y. That was a mistake because I am sure I would have been so much stronger by now. But I enjoyed the program and met some great people.
