Today is "Hugs Day" ☺
I'm declaring today "Hugs Day" so hug someone you love - or hug me.
I never get enough of them - LOL.
Aaron, good luck today with your first infusion and please touch base with us when
you feel up to it.
Lisha, how ya doing today?
Liz, what's going on with you?
John, I know you'll chime in regardless (warm hug).
Beth, how are you doing?
Vinny, how's your garden doing?
Maggie, what's up with you?
Bluerose, I know you don't post a lot but I suspect you
read a lot of posts - would love to hear from you.
I know I didn't get to everyone (I can blame so
many things on "chemobrain" now).
I hope Sue and company catch a lot of fish.
(Yeah, I probably had a little too much coffee this morning -
Tim Hortons to be exact... or did I take too many of the wrong pills?).
Hug Hug Hug
Big hugs to all of you!
Jim

Good morning Sweetie
Hi Jim,
Thanks for thinking of all of us. Nothing is really up. Just so hot and humid in
New York. I can't stand it.
On Monday July 30 I am having a Pet Ct scan and seeing my oncologist Monday Aug 6.
As you very well know, there is so much worry involved with the results. I am
hoping I am still in remission.
Have a wonderful weekend. You're always in my thoughts. Love Maggie0 -

Hi Jim
I'm checking in for hugs. I sure seem to need a buch lately.
How are you doing, you have had a bit of a rough patch going on.
Huge hugs right back to you.
Lisha
I'm doing okay. Still miss my sister and losing her dog (Ozzie) just
emphasized that with me and Philip (her husband). We've had dinner together
a couple nights this week. He keeps busy doing projects around his house.
Me - well I keep putting things off at my house . I did take care of
another yellow jacket nest the other day so I guess I
haven't been completely lazy . Now If I can muster up enough motivation
to vacuum the floors....
Hugs are always good ☺.0 -

Oh Jim,
I didn't know anout your sister's dog. Heartache upon heartache. I am so sorry. You really have been through so much. Gosh, I wish we lived closer, I come right over and give you a proper hug.
I cannot imagine my life without Lola. She is so sweet and puts up with so much alone time, and never complains about it. And newfys hate to be alone!
Hugs to you and your BIL and the kids.

I'd make you coffee. I can feel the hug from here, Lisha.
Whats a few bits and bytes and a few thousand miles?
Our all too human situation(s) has made all of us "close" .
Ozzie was over 18 years old and lived a happy life. I posted about
it on my expressions page.
Thanks for the hugs - I'll pass it on to Philip.

Oh Jim
I just looked at Ozzie. He is the from the picture with Wanda. I'm sorry that I didn't see it posted on Friday. I was clearly in some amount of shock that day.
I am going to take you up on that coffee some day. maybe one of my trips to Florida, I'll make a quick stop in your neck of the woods..
I hope that knowing Ozzie and Wanda are together again gives you, Phillip and the kids a tiny bit of comfort.
I am so sorry for the loss of Ozzie.

Well, I'm doing ok...I'm still feeling a little off. Remember I told you about the irregular heartbeat and out of air thing I was feeling. I was suppose to have my first Rituxan treatment yesterday (second round) but my Onc cancelled it, supposedly they didn't have my medicine so I couldn't get my treatment. I'll get it next Wednesday (I hope)! Still feel weird, I'm trying my best to not pay a lot of attention to it and just trying to keep myself occupied. The Onc really didn't give me an answer or any advise just looked at me like I was either crazy or making it up. Thanks for asking and sorry for venting...
Oh and by the way how many coffee cups did you have today??? lol
((((((HHHHUUUUGGGGSSSS)))))) to all!!!
Sincerely,

Hi Liz
So sorry that your feeling weird. I have had irregular heartbeats and it's unnerving, to say the least. Are you able to take a deep breath? I'm glad that your onc is not giving you the R right now. And if you start to have any real difficulty with breathing, get yourself, with hubby of course to the closest E.R.
Your so allowed to vent, but I don't even consider it venting..
I would be frustrated if my onc didn't address my issues to my satisfaction.
I get the "keeping occupied". What helps me is jigsaw puzzles. My girls tell me that only really old people do as many puzzles as I do. But after telling them about the new cancer and how the puzzles really keep my mind from going off the deep end, they gave me "permission" to do puzzles for one more year!!! So I have to be all better by this time next year or the puzzle police will be at my house pronto.
Hang in there and know that I am thinking of you.
Huge hugs

Hey Liz, you're welcome to vent all you want .
Hmmm, I think you should get to the bottom of the "weird" feeling
and the shortness of breath. Your body is talking to you.
Is the back issue better? I'm off to my niece's for a day or two but
will be checking occasionally from there.
I probably had about 4 cups of coffee yesterday and was "bouncing"
a little.
Hugs,
Jim0 -

Hi Lisha,
Whenever I feel like that I try to keep myself calm and to remember to take deep breaths. I also like to do puzzles, I just recently bought my daughter her first one so she could start learning how to do them. She actually liked it a lot and we're starting on her second one. They can be pretty relaxing, I also like to read (anything to keep the mind busy)!
How are you feeling? Are the pain medicine helping you a bit more? I really do hope you can have the operation on Tuesday so you can get rid of those tumors. Lisha hang in there, I'm always thinking about you and praying to God to help you get better! Take care and thank you for always being there for me. ((((Hugs)))
Sincerely,

Hi Jim,
Will do, if I continue to feel weird I'll go to my other doc and tell them to check it out. My back still hurts but there comes a time when you sort of learn to live with the pain, life is sure funny. As soon as I finish this treatment I'll go see a pain specialist.
Have fun with your nieces and take care of yourself. Sending you a huge hug buddy! Thanks for always being there for everybody Jim.
Sincerely,
