What about cutting it out
Has the doctor mentioned removing that section of lung? You do not mention the size of the tumor. Radiation can only treat 1.5 cm tumors or smaller.
If it is just in one section why do they not suggest removing that part of the lung? Maybe I missed something. If I did please let me know. Reread your post and see where you said surgery was not an option. Why?

Due to the condition of both my lungs (COPD) and my heart, I am not a candidate for surgery. Doctors won't take a chance. Said if they put me under I probably will not recover.
