Finding Inspiration
We started with " Fight. Faith.Finish."
While Hubby has been hospitalized, I saw this sign in the hall -- "Courage is the commitment to begin without the guarantee of success."
And that one reminded me of the words of the great philosopher, John Wayne -- "Courage isn't the the lack of fear but saddling up anyway."
Keep up the good fight.

My niece reminded me yesterday that I am on "God's schedule" not mine. -

Your are right
Kent and all the replies I have read since being dx in March about inspiration some I posted myself. As I have commented before, sometimes we do not see God coming but we sure see when he goes by. Thru out my many years I thought I would not make it thru hardtimes and God was not answering my prayers. Then I would come out on the other side better than I could have hoped for. Actually God never failed me, I failed him, I let my faith dwindle and failed to take it one day at a time which Is what God tells us to do since no one is promised a tommorrow. I think of so many with or without cancer that wake up every day and just do what it takes to get thru it. I especially think about the Wounded Warriors I see on TV who left with such strong healthy bodies and return with devasting injuries and just have to do what it takes to get thru it. Im sure some on this blog knows one of these Warriors personally, if you do tell them The Dittos thank them so much for their service to all of us. So when I commented about being 56 and sheding tears in one of my last blogs, they were not all cancer tears, they were apology tears at times for God, my wife, and my general attitude, TEARS OF MANY ISSUES. So God is good, and One Day at a Time is a Fact. And for today the Sun is out.
