Ear pain

in Thyroid Cancer #1
I have recently been diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer. I've had an ear ache and swollen face and neck on same side as cancer. The dr. says they are not necessarily related. Anyone else have these symptoms?

    Before I was diagnosed I did have ear aches on the same side that they found my cancer. Since my surgery the ear pain is gone. I had asked my first doctor about it....he did not think it was related. I quite disagreed with him. I still have the occasional twinge in the ear, but otherwise it's ok.
