in Rare and Other Cancers #1
New and scared - SCC was found in my left groin nodes - two of them - had pet scan saw rediual in that area and two suspicious nodes in the illac area - left --- forgive the spelling so nervous - cant find primary - GYN thinks cervical but nothing is showing - and hope and input Thank you cindy

    I'm sorry for your concerns.
    I'm sorry for your concerns. Take a deep breath and try not to get too worked up before you get more answers. Is your onc recommending hysterectomy? My thoughts are with you. Try the gyn cancer boards too. I know both cervical and vaginal and vulvar cancers will spread to the groin nodes. Best wishes for you.

    Thank you......onc sending me to gyn surgical onc in Boston MA.......see what they suggest......my gyn here thinks cervical is the cause but didn't see it on pet scan......anyone have some stories for me?

    Still can't find primary.....moderately defferential....when I read things it says you won't live long......
