Not out of the woods buts did jump for joy !
Well all your good vibes got me through those tests ! And no evidence of disease found in spinal fluid ! There is some slight pressure changes...but they will be watching ! Now I go in next Tuesday for another CT/with contrast to check the lungs and resect site. Why they couldn't check everything on Monday is beyond me...not the doctor....they are the professionals. But I AM SO HAPPY ! I watched the spinal puncture on the screen, and asked to see the fluid they took. And I didn't get woosie or faint, lol ! Thanks for the prayers and warm thoughts ! You all have a great day ! Katie

Happy to hear!
ONC told me they had to allow 12 weeks between end of Tx and CT w/contrast for best image. Then yesterday my surgeon moved it up a couple of weeks...so who knows their thinking but it certainly would have been easier for you to have it all done at once.0 -

Nice to hear good reports, it makes the day seem brighter.
May God hold your hand next week for your scans and deliver more NED for you.
God bless

good report
Hi katenorwood,
Nice report, prompt, to the point and good news. Now take the rest of the day off. If you can start watching these procedures I think I want you as part of my consult team (I want to watch, but I never have the nerve. I am better at closing my eyes till they are finished). What did the fluid look like (you see I am living vicariously through you).
Very, very happy for you.
Best,

Oh Matt,
You make a person smile ! The fluid was clear like water....usually a very good sign. Doctor said it takes awhile to collect, didn't want to open the fawcett...good lord ! I am still so pleased with the news, and more positive for next week. Katie
Thank you everyone for your responses ! You are all appreciated so much !0 -
Yeah Katie!!
I'll be honest with ya, when you said "spinal puncture" a couple of weeks ago, I got scared for ya....that just sounds so scary or painful. A BIG congrats on the NED of the spinal fluid....I might have fainted on this, and there's no way in hell I would have watched...LOL.

Great news! I can be pretty tough when it comes to watching medical treatments... but I don't think I could have watched either!
So glad for the good news Katie ....you are on my nightly prayer list and tonight I will say a big THANK YOU to the good Lord for the good news ...... )))))) Keep us posted and again, sooo very happy with you tonight!!!
Best,
Tim0
