in Ovarian Cancer #1
I miss her posts and comments. She was on cargo/gemzar (the same as me), and i was wondering how she did on this chemo combo. Hope you're OK and are off somewhere having fun, Carolen!

    Not Good
    Sadly, she has been in and out of the hospital for the last month or so, with infections. She has currently been in the hospital this time for over almost two weeks. She's had a fungus in her blood, and now her kidneys are having trouble. Her husband says she sleeps a lot. She's one of the strongest fighters I know. I'm hoping she can fight her way through this.

    Thanks for the update. I had a sinking feeling the news would not be good. You're right about her being a strong fighter, though. (((sigh))). Stupid, mean cancer.

    Her husband is grateful for the prayers and asks that you continue to pray for Carolen. Her bloodwork is a bit better today. She still sleeps a lot, only stays awake for a half hour at a time, and is very weak.
