I have tried to get into the chat rooms and always have a problem. I assumed it is a site issue. Maybe I am doing something wrong.
I tried a long time ago to get in and couldn't. I don't know if a lot go there anymore, just for that reason.
Good luck!

I checked it out
And it does work. Of course, when I first went there, a blank page with a note about "you have to enable some doohickie". Now, most of you might be afraid of the rampant doohickies on the 'net, but not I! I have a Mac, and Macs usually don't worry about doohickies.
So I clicked on "enable doohickie" and restarted my browser. Chat works! OK, there's no one there, but at least I know how to get there...and maybe some of you who had problems with it will now know what to do. Oh, I think the doohickie was called Java6 or something. It seems that with a site this large, this doohickie should do your computer no harm. Notice I said "it seems". Good luck! -

I know Re used to go in the chat rooms, but, I don't know if she still does. Maybe she could help you if you're having trouble. You could message her on here.
Lots of luck! -
