You should both probably get baseline hearing tests so that future issues can be assessed from a starting point. Many of us go for baseline swallowing tests but I think this one is overlooked some. If you have the insurance and the time, get it scheduled. -

Ringing in the ears
Hello !
I don't have your type of c or treatment. But because of my surgery, that was so close to my nerve sheath in neck, I too have the ringing. A hearing baseline sounds like a good idea, one I hadn't thought of. My tumor was up under my rt. jaw and butted up next to my nerve bundle under my ear. Been told has to do with nerve damage.
