in Colorectal Cancer #1
Hi,
My BF Bill is in the UCI since last Friday after his colon ruptured in 3 places. He currently is in septic shock which is affecting his lungs. He is on a ventilator and today is doing better. They may decide to trach him so it will be easier for him to breathe. Yesterday his surgeon did surgery at his bedside in the ICU. Amazing what they can do. This was done because it is too dangerous to move him to the OR while on the ventilator. The surgeon wanted to look at his colon and see what was going on and ended up doing another temporary colostomy although it is not sewn up. So it is just day by day with Bill. They say he will be in ICU for a long time because of his lungs. So please,please keep the prayers coming. Thanks and prayers for you all as well from me.
