Boston Surgeon
Dr. Chris Morse at MGH-Boston. Top-notch.0 -
Thank you
Thank you all for the recommendations. You have given us some great places to start. We've been very pleased with the doctors and staff at the cancer center where we started and we may end up there, but with the surgery getting closer, we've realized this is far too big of a decision to make without some further investigation and a second or third opinion. Thanks again for the help.0 -

Sally, I agree the more opinions you get the better off you are picking a surgeon. I "interviewed" four Doc's prior to my THE. All of them excellent top rated doc's and though my wife thought it was a delay tactic on part to put off surgery she was very happy I did look at so many doc's as the last one I saw is who we choose to perform my THE. One thing you learn from all of the doc's is what all of the benefits and draw backs to the different types of procedures available if, you see doc's that perform a variety of different procedures.
Good luck picking a surgeon and best wishes,

Any input on a Dr Leonard Henry at IU Goshen Cancer Center. He is my husband's first choice for surgery. We are still looking into 2nd opinions, but it's slow going. He is kind of set on staying local. We have an appointment Tuesday to discuss the PET Scan results and talk about surgery. It's getting down to crunch time and I'm getting nervous. Paul is trying hard to keep everything normal (and local) but I'm getting concerned that we should be looking a bigger cancer centers. Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks,
