Yesterday the GI doctor wrote me a prescription for lidocaine cream to be used on my poor aching bottom. Talk about relief!
It numbs the area and gives any inflammation a chance to settle down.
Take care everyone~

Hey TC- My radiation onc
Hey TC- My radiation onc gave me a bottle of that way back when and I still have it. What he gave me was actually a thick syrup like liquid that is used for oral pain but has the same potency as any other lidocane product. I found that it stung a little when I applied it to my rear so I stopped using it. I might look for the cream though, thanks. The best relief I have gotten so far is maximum strength Desitin. I love that stuff and it never stings.
Take care, CJ0
