iressa - anybody taking it currently?

Hi - I am new to this discussion board. I'm interested to know if anyone who has lung cancer is currently taking the drug called iressa. Presently, I am in a clinical trial and it is being suggested by my doctor that I can go off the drug. I've been on iressa now since 2004, so I'm concerned about stopping the drug as it has worked well for me.

    Just knowing that you have survived since 2004 gives me comfort. I know nothing about Iressa but seeing that there have been no responses from people who have used it, I thought I would recommend that you take your question to Cancergrace,org. It is monitored by oncologists. Keep the faith!
