Well, a week after my surgery, I finally got my results:

FINAL PATHOLOGIC DIAGNOSIS
Kidney, left, nephrectomy
- CLEAR CELL RENAL CELL CARCINOMA
- FURHMAN GRADE 2
- TUMOR SIZE: 4.9 CM
- NO EXTRACAPSULAR INVASION
- NO LYMPHOVASCULAR INVASION
- NO EXTENSION INTO PELVIS
- URETER AND VASCULAR SURGICAL MARGINS NOT INVOLVED
- UNINVOLVED RENAL PARENCHYMA WITH NO PATHOLOGIC DIAGNOSIS
- pT1bNXMX

Doesn't look too bad. It grew about 1.5CM in one month though. But ... it's all gone now :)

    As good as it gets
    BigRich,

Sounds good to me. The CT scan shows the tumor in 3 dimension, so it is not always accurate. May you start counting your survivorship in months and years now that the initiation is over.

Rich, those results sound very good. Now you just need to take it easy and recuperate. Keep up with your follow up scans and be happy :-)
