Hi all, posted to ask advice on going away while my husband was receiving chemo, took your advice and we both had a fab time, hot and lots of swimming, so nice to be normal for a short time. Got home Wed and hubby had bloods done then on the Thurs he had his chemo. Would love to do it again. All take care Chin up.

    Just wait and see how he is doing on treatment. There are a lot of people that work full time all the way through so if you can go - go. Glad you had a great time.

    So happy to got to go away and feel normal if just for a few days. Our onc always says if you want to go, go, chemo can be worked around it and we have done so a few times. Just a short getaway can do wonders for the mind, body and soul.
