Clinical Trial

Well, this second round of chemo is not working. I now have three subcutaneous tumors in my right chest area, and of course the so-called infection in my mouth turns out to be malignant. So, I'm off that chemo, going in for simulation and then radiation on the mouth tumor starting tomorrow. And next week, we'll figure out what's next.

I asked the oncologist for any clinical trials that might help. So research is next. Bizarrely, I'm having no problems eating, so the original cancer hasn't grown back. It's just popping up in multiple other places. Joy...

    Well Jerry
I hope you get a clinical trail that works wonders! Just know we are all thinking about you and hoping the cancer will not grow back in the espohagus and will stop popping up!

    Dang it!
    Jerry,

You really must stop with this kind of news. Only good news of NO other spread from now on, you hear?

Seriously, I'm truly happy that you seem to be feeling good and are having no problems eating. Now just find that clinical trial and zap that dang cancer out of there!

I truly do hope you can find the right thing for you. You deserve a break! As always, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

    Sending hugs and best wishes,
    Melinda

Lots of prayers coming your way
    Jerry,

I certainly admire your positive outlook. I am hoping and praying you find a clinical trial that will get ahead of this cancer. In the mean time a positive attitude is the right direction for sure.

    But while dancing...
I tripped over a 16th of an inch obstruction, fell over, broke my big toe, and got carpet burns. Maybe this dancing thing is not for me??

Sometimes it seems like things go that way
    Jerry,

I know what you mean. Sometimes when you are trying to do all the right things, things just go south for no logical reason. But we have today so I guess we have to do our best to work with that.

Hoping your day is better today :)

Sure do hope things get better for you real soon Jerry
    Dang Jerry!

I am a gambling woman and I would sure bet on you for finding something that is going to keep the beast at bay. I am sorry to hear that you broke your toe - put on a soft toe cover and dance anyway.

Jerry ~ I don't how you do it - but your attitude is one of the best and strongest attitudes I've ever read. You continue to be on my mind and in my prayers and thoughts. Keep on truckin' Jerry and tell Mrs. JG hello for me.

    Sending you mega hugs,
    Judy

    Being Silly
Judy, didn't really break my toe, I was just being silly in responding to Paul's catch phrase at the end of his signature.

I find that adding a layer of humor (or was that humus??) to what's going on, keeps ME going on.

As to how I do it... Jimmy Buffet expressed it well: "If we weren't all crazy, we would all go insane."

    Sanity is highly overrated.

    Love to you and yours,
