Needle biopsy today

Hi Ladies,
I posted a few weeks ago that I had four spots, one near my thyroid, and 3 near my diaphram area light up during an early May pet scan.
My oncologist doesn't think it's related to the OVCA. However, he sent me to a specialist to have the needle biopsy done today. My CA-125 three weeks ago was still 12.8, pet and ct scans in early May both had clean abdominal areas.
Just hoping this is nothing. I will find out next week. (probably Wed. or Thurs.) He said that even if it comes back positive it is very treatable. This is still very upsetting.
Have any of you ladies had false positives on pet scans?
Hope all of you have a great weekend.
Carla

Thanks Kelly,lovesanimals said:Dear Carla
I have had only one PET scan and that was done earlier this week. I was lucky. Mine was clear with nothing suspicious. Hoping and praying that you get good results of your needle biopsy!
Take care,
Kelly
My December
Thanks Kelly,
My December PET scan was clean. This disease is SO scary.
