9 more rads, 1 more chemo! Can't wait for this to be over, my poor guy is so tired.

    Who hoo! i can completely understand how this feels! I am one behind you, i have 10 left. I was telling my DH in car that tomorrow we go down in single digits! Cannot wait for rads to be over.

    How is your husbad doing? My biggest problem is extreme dry throat and nausea for the pain med.

    Being on this forum has helped me so much going thru these days one day at a time.

    He can do it just stay with him and keep supporting him, soon it will be graduation day at the doctor’s office. I can still remember the last day I walked in and the walk back out, what a feeling to know it was over.

    He's doing pretty well,
    He's doing pretty well, considering. He's really tired and has lots of mucus that at times it seems like he's choking on. He's got a suction machine being delivered today, hopefully that will help. Still swallowing water but he's not eating much regular food. He's mostly using the PEG.

    Ahhhh, the carefree days of single digits and PEG tube eating, it brings back memories.

    Keep the faith, he is almost there, physically it gets harder but mentally it is very doable. Keep drinking (swallowing), get all the rest you need.

    That was my second BIG goal, after hitting the half way mark. Then the countdown begins...5...4...3..2..ONE!!!!

    This is something that gets me into the dancing around the kitchen mood!! LOLOLOL
