Awww the beach! That's the best!!! Not warm enough here for the beach yet. I love that you always post this on my Thursday, gets me excited for the weekend. We have a pizza party for the track team. Also my sister and I are planning my daughter's baby shower so we'll do a little decoration shopping.0 -

Hoping to feel better. Xeloda is attacking my gastro system. Ugh...that's how it goes in treatment eh?
No plans as of yet.
Hoping to work on taxes and gather items for an upcoming town yard sale.
Always lots of 'STUFF' remaining from kids earlier years.
My bike is calling my name but my walks have been delayed some days due to chemo issues. No biking yet...
Have a wonderful weekend all.
These posts are fun to read.
BTW-our best beaches are the dunes in IN and MI-water may still be cold. Chicago beaches are pretty too...0 -
"No more radiation" party
"No more radiation" party tomorrow night with girlfriends, then daughter's softball tournament this weekend. It's my first one since my diagnosis and I have a lot of mothers on the team who have promised to watch out for me - keep me out of the sun, bring me waters, etc. I might get used to this special treatment! :-)0 -
Beach is nice
I will be resting. Chemo #8 of 12 is next week and the cumulative part I am starting to really understand. I can sleep 14 hours and wake up exhausted. Sooooo I will be sleeping. Zzzzzzzzzzzz Alice0 -

Hi Pepe,
Well, you know me and my yard sales. Will be at it again Saturday. It's only supposed to be about 104. We used to rent a huge storage room, but had to give it up and my house looks like a bomb hit it with all the boxes, tools, camping equipment, and lots of other stuff, my 30 boxes of Christmas decorations included. So I'll probably be at this till we lose the house or I die, whichever comes first. LOL! Of course I may have to come back after I die. I still have a cabin full of stuff to get rid of before it can be sold. Maybe I should open a second hand shop.
Hope everyone has a pleasant weekend.
Luv,

My daughter, Jennifer will be 29 Saturday. My husband, 26 year old son and 14 year old twins will be taking her to dinner Saturday in Chattanooga TN where she lives (about 45 min away). Time sure does fly, I thought I was only 30 years old!!!!

the weekend
ahh... the weekend. (thanks for this post)
Just met with surgeon today and the plan is to have 4 MORE weeks OFF of chemo and do the reconnect surgery of my colon, and get rid of the Bag! Pretty excited about this and after just 2 weeks off of chemo, I'm feeling the best I've felt in a year or two.
Tomorrow is my 2nd son's graduation party, so we'll have a couple hundred people in and out of the house. And, tonight and sunday... going to other grad parties.
beautiful weather here in Ohio this week... this is the best.
enjoy YOUR weekend everyone.
Hugs

Sun sounds good!
Here in southern California we have what's called May Grey and June Gloom, because these two months usually have a thick marine layer come in and stay.
I'm going to have a quiet weekend and not do much of anything.
Everyone enjoy themselves, or take this time to heal and rejuvenate.
Hugs~

Best of luck with you takedown. It's great to be off the bag. Don't listen to any horror stories. Only those who had problems post them.
