update
So what I didn't talk about in my last post...there is a teeny tiny itsy bitsy lump just below my mastectomy scar. Of course, it could be scar tissue. But it doesn't feel like the rest of the scar tissue in the area (I have lots), but it also doesn't feel like the previous recurrence. The bottom line, I decided to have the biopsy done. It's too small and awkwardly located for a needle biopsy, so we're doing a little incision on June 4th, the soonest my surgeon can get me in. (Which also means I have to postpone jury duty scheduled for the 4th.) I decided I would rather deal with another wound than worry.
Anyway, the decision to have the biopsy means no chemo for a minimum of three weeks. When we know the results of the biopsy, I'll make the next decision. In the meantime, I'm napping and sleeping in when I want (it's so glorious!). And feeling some energy here and there, especially on days when I have coffee.
Hugs,
Linda

I'm going for scar tissue! I pray that's all it is....but I do understand the anxiety....certainly...especially since I, too, am stage IV....
Keep us posted when you're up to it...enjoy sleeping in...I'm usually awake around 4:00 am til 6:00 am...then head back to bed for a few hours...a true luxury!
Sending big hugs,

I agree that it is better to be safe than sorry! But I am praying that it is just scar tissue. So glad you are getting some well deserved rest.0 -

Wishing you all the best for
Wishing you all the best for the biopsy, really hope it is just scar tissue. It is good to get it out of the way and then know what you are dealing with. Let us know who it goes.0 -

hoping and praying that the biopsy is just a silly piece of scar tissue. A pain in the neck to go through another biopsy, but after we find out it's clear, you can move forward again.
Love and hugs, Renee0
