in Esophageal Cancer #1
Today marks one year since Charlies MIE surgery. Just thinking right about now I was by him in surgical Intensive care and he was sleeping peacefully. What a whirlwind 1 1/2 years it has been. With alot of ups and downs. But we are so grateful for the 3 clean scans and stable weight and only a few episodes a month of some troublesome but manageable gastric upsets. I am so upbeat today that I had to share.

    Thanks for sharing the good news! Glad to hear Charlie is doing well, and that your spirits are up! Jeff's one year anniversary of dx was yesterday, he is doing better now too :)

    Congratulations!! Isn't it a great feeling to be free from the beast! Time flies especially when you're coasting along enjoying life and not worrying about dealing with everything associated with EC, surgery, recovery, etc... Celebrate and life life to the MAX!! remember, life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all.
