Our grandson is here!!!!

I just want to give out some positive news!! I became a first time grandma yesterday, 5/24/12. Our grandson's arrival has been the light at the end of my tunnel that helped me have a goal to aim at during my treatment. We found out he was on the way in October around the time I was starting Taxol - I had finished AC and had been picturing staying alive to see my grandchildren and we got the great news he was on the way! I am SO blessed! I'm headed to Chicago to meet him and give our son and his wife the hugest hugs I can muster!

I have tears of joy in my eyes!

    So very happy for all of you! I have 4 grands and I'm here to tell you they are the best medicine! They are only an hour away they are the light of our lives! Your life has changed...for the best!

    Yeah!!!!!!!!!!! And I was a first time grandma 2 years ago, 5-24-10! My grand-daughter is the light of my life. Oh my gosh, the love and joy is simply amazing. There is healing power in that joy. Soak it up, dear girl. Blessings, karinna

    We grammas can really relate to your joy! That sweet baby in your arms burbling and squiggling around making those little funny faces...just before they poop! ;-)

    And soft with little fuzz on their heads...just like gramma I think! You will feel so satisfied to have the baby in your arms. I have 3, and loved every minute of the time I spent with them for 10 years until my daughter moved away and remarried.

    Grands are the best!
    Spoil them rotten then send them home! I have 2 little grands, a 2 1/2 and a 4 month and absolutely adore being their BeBe (I'm not sure where it came from but I like it)

    Jozie's big gummy smile when she sees me ALWAYS makes me smile, who can help it?
    Jasper's "Bye Bebe, see you later, love you BeBE" nearly makes me cry from joy every time

    Congratulations, wishing you much fun, laughter and love from this little guy!
