Gardens, Grandbabies and Spring
They could be planting in the garden, babysitting grandbabies,
or just enjoying Spring .
I kind of thought the same thing - not a lot activity on this board
in the past couple days. I guess I should get a life .
Anyway, it's past my nap time and I CAN TELL (yawn).
Hug your grandbaby .

Hey guys,
I'm here ... and I posted on the board yesterday to Bob. Even when I'm babysitting Lizzy, I ALWAYS check the group to make sure everyone is ok. I think summer is usually our slowest time in the group because so many folks are busy enjoying the season. Remember our summer in 2010 John? OMG...we had at least a dozen people that had just been diagnosed(like you, me, Liz, Tom, Lisha, etc)and the others were going through harsh treatments and in a very difficult place with their cancer. Now most of us from then, are in the maint phase, remission, or watchful waiting and things are more calm. I miss so many people from back then, but hopefully they are feeling wonderful and just living their life to the fullest!! I still always wonder what happened with Tom from Texas and sweet Liz from California. Well...got errands to run today since it's my day off from busy Lizzy, so I better get crackin! Love ya...Sue (FNHL-2-3A-6/10)0 -
I'm here too
Hi John,
I am still here. My weekend was a mixed bag of emotions, and yesterday seemed to hit me hard.
Anyways, I do try to read the posts everyday, just don't always have the energy (emotional and physical)to reply to everyone.
Hugs to you
Lisha
PS I was also having a heck of a time getting on the site. Lots of spammers and very slow load time. The site seems to be working better for now.0 -

Lisha,
I feel better knowing I am not here by myself. Hope things get better for ya'. Sue..Yes I remember 2010 very well. I also miss the original group from that time. Don't forget, "Keep on Truckin",she has not posted in a long time either. I believe she was in Md. The last I heard she was doing great. The last I remember hearing from Tom was he was heading to Texas for some test. Haven't heard anything since.I could go on naming several people that we hear from no more. I am sure they are out there enjoying life somewhere.I wonder if those sunspots they have been talking about could be causing some problems getting on the site. John0 -

I think it's those dang aliens causing problems with the site, John .
Maybe it's time to get out the "tin foil" and cover the windows?

Hi Everybody
Hi Everybody,
I was pretty busy this weekend, my mother's day started since May 10th (lol) one of the perks of being Mexican/American!!! Got together with many of my orphaned cousins like myself and had a really good time.
Yesterday not so well though, I went to my other "specialist" didn't get so wonderful news, man what a bummer! She said that my thyroid is not working so getting medicine for that, my cholesterol is extremely high (no more red meat) damn damn damn!!!! And I'm getting diabetes So now I have to make drastic changes in my diet, I want to at least try before she tries to give me more medicine (Oh the joy).
Well at least she's sending me go get an X-Ray of my back, to try to figure out my back pain.
Well take care everybody (((Hugs to all)))
Sincerely,
Liz0 -

Hi Liz,
That's a lot to deal with honey. Dieting is so hard, at least for me it is, but when it comes to diabetes, diet is very important in controlling it. My oldest sister has it and keeping to a diet has been very hard for her....hope you can manage without too much stress. Red meat is a hard one to give up, but you must do what you have to do to get healthy. I'm so happy steps are being taken to find the cause of your back pain. If the x-rays don't provide an answer then I would ask for a MRI. Nothing worse than nagging back pain, especially with little ones to look after! You take care sweetie and know we are all here for you. Give it your all and keep the faith. Let us know what you find out about your back pain. Much love...Sue

Hi Liz,
I received the very high cholesterol news myself last week! It IS such a bummer. No red meat and real careful with the CHEESE. My two favorites, but cheese is a love! I am also taking fish oil pills ~ o yay ~ Between eating fish and taking those pills I hope I don't get scaly or grow gills! I guess I must have gone over that hill, but I don't remember any hill!
Hang in there Liz!
