melanoma mets question

care01, I am sorry for the
care01, I am sorry for the circumstances that bring you here but glad that you have found this site. Do you have a specific question? Each of the survivors and caregivers here will answer to the best of our ability. I do know that each mets retains the characteristics of the primary tumor, so a lung met of melanoma origin retains the characteristic of the melanoma. It will respond to the chemos designed to control them. I think that there are some chemos that may work on both lung and skin cancers but I do not know that for a fact. I look forward to hearing from you. Denny -

After posting here I found the skin cancer section and it seems that is where everyone with this type is going. I have a thousand questions as everyone else surely does. I will move over to the skin section and start there. Thanks for responding to me!
