in Breast Cancer #1
Saw the surgeon and plastic surgeon today. I will have a bilateral mastectomy on May 21st or 25th. We will get the day nailed down. I will have no reconstruction now or anytime real soon. Not happy but it has to be done.

    I'll be lifting you in prayer! I did not have reconstruction for two years because I had an infection in my body that just would not back off! I wish you a speedy recovery, we are here for you Maureen!

    Apparently it will be the 21st because the radiology department called today to tell me to there at 0815 for the injection for the radioactive dye to find the sentinel node. Wish my doctors office would call.
