Congrats...
I wouldn't worry so much concerning scan frequency... If you have a good ENT, more than likely he's going to want to scope you every eight weeks or so the first year.
My Chemo MD scheduled CT's every 3-4 months the first year or so (and an annual PET). Then moving it out to a CT at six months, then a PET at six months...two scans a year starting year two.
Best,

I take it as confidence from the doctor. If you really are concerned about scan interval too long, why not bring it up and discuss with your doctor? I am sure he/she has good reasons.
Are there any finer words?? Congratulations and many more :-)!!

Scans
Congratulations- another NPC success.
Not sure about the 3-4 month thing for the first two years. My first PS/CT was at 3-months to establish baseline, then 8 months later, and after that it's only been one/year. And, I've never had an MRI. At my suggestion, I do now get CTs at 6-months, between the yearly PS/CT. Would think the 3-4 month frequency is a bit extreme if your scans are coming back clean and without anything suspicious.

Hi Cherri
I am very happy for you and the NED report on your NPC, keep on doing what you are doing. After my first treatment I did not get a PET scanned for the first year, not sure why, I think the doctor forget. After that I had MRI’s & PET every 6 months. I hope that helps.
God bless
