CT Scan Today
and visit with the oncologist. I'm so "excited".
Actually, I experienced some anxiety and
spent most of the night watching TV and surfing the net
until I could finally sleep (yawn). I guess I wasn't so good
at being positive but I'm okay now ☺.
Hugs are welcome .
Jim

Understand
`Dear Jim,
I understand so completely. Sending you extra hugs and prayers your way. I'm scheduled
for a scan possibly late July or August. I am just sitting here thinking about it. So
scared what they will find? I haven't had a scan for just over a year.

The Big Scan
Jim,
Be thinking about you man. I know the anxiety that goes with the scan. What if this and what if that syndrone. I go to the hospital the next day and get my readings.I go for mine pretty soon too. Within the next week as a matter of fact. I can't wait to get my "BLOOK WORD" done LOL. John0 -
Hi Jim
Hi Jim,
Hope everything goes well for you today!!! Will be thinking about you, sending you a ((HUGE HUG))) and positive thoughts! Take care
Sincerely,
Liz0 -
Hang in there...
Hi Jim,
Keep thinking positive thoughts that all will be good! I did the same thing the night before my scan and was sooooo tired sitting in the back room drinking that B-I-G bottle of water. I could have slept through my scan, except it doesn't take that long to complete. Good luck, and let us know what you find out. Fingers and toes crossed!...Sue

Jim,
Oh boy I get it. Had my CAT last week and have BMB Wednesday. I'm all over the place, can't concentrate on anything and am uncharacteristically short tempered.
So I get it. With you every step of the way. BIG HUG.
Donna
Hi Donna,
I got a cold chill when you said your having a BMB done on Wednesday..UGH!!!! Does your doctor put you "out" for it? Gosh...I sure hope so. Isn't it crazy how anxious we get when all of these test come due? I get anxious just reading when everyone else is getting tests!! Sure wish there was an easier way for us to do it without the added stress. Take care friend and of course you will be in my prayers. Let us know your results.
Much love to you...Sue

Yeah, I know all about being up anxious. I can feel your being awake out in the world with me. Tough nite of mouth washing with lidocane. Got one cup of coffee to go down not too painful but did a vicoden at 4 am. So tired of waking up nineteen times and being scared. I even did a couldn't catch my breath wake up last nite. Let me know how you are Jim. My soul is with you. I prayed for you this morning. Hugs from me.0

Yeah, I got a package from MD Anderson yesterday with a schedule for five days of every test known to man. I was having a medium type anxious day then the thoughts of what they will find freaked me out. I already have myself on each x-ray table. Hated the appt. they called staging. I am only out one chemo next the 22. Suffering sour throat and tongue from hell. Anyone have that? I am doing the lidocaine gargle. Must go back today to see them again because of it. Whoa, another tiring, long day. I pray for us all miss maggie.0 -

Experienced my first big drop in blook work (white cells.) Scares the socks off of me. Oh, to pray to get through this. Nurse said mine are ditching rapidly. Oh Good! Hair going today. Hot here and ugh to a wig. Will fear ever not play a part in every lump, bump etc. I don't think so. Cure, lets go for the cure! Hugs.0 -

I bawled until they said they would put me out for the Bone Marrow. They did and I will insist on it again. I am a coward where that is concerned but my doc's say. Oh, we have such a good technique here. Bull. Not on me. We are so radiated I wonder what is around the corner later. CT's so bad for you. MRI and Pet Scan not so much radiation. They talk about these tests like your trying out new sports cars each time. Want one to do a BMarrow wide awake an we will see. Still have a sore hip from the two I got in Houston. Sweaty Palms.0 -
Clean Bill
Hey Jim!
Hope your scan went well and you get a clean bill of health! My granddaughter was crying the other day that she didn't want to go to the doctor and get a shot "cuz it will break her skeleton!" What a way to put it! I feel that pain literally especially with the BMB!
HUGS!!

CT results were good - still NED (no evidence detected).
John, my "blook word" was good for post chemo - some levels
were low but the oncologist says I'm doing great.
Thank you all for your good wishes and cyber hugs.
I have no doubt they helped!
I made another post requesting you all to use
your "chemo brains" to help come up with some
happy dances!

hope all went well... scanxiety is expected so they say, but it doesn't make it any easier. Mine is Tuesday. Positive vibes coming your way...
((HUG))
Hi Harry,
Best wishes for you too. Hope things went well today.
I love "scanxiety" (not the feeling but the "word").
Hugs and positive thoughts,
Jim
