A month since diagnosis and I finally get to start treatment on Monday. I have used that month to read many of the posts and am thankful to all of you that have given your advice, I feel it has helped me get prepared. I have my sitz bath and donut, ammodium and baby wipes, aquaphor and ensure, a sense of humour and a positive attitude so I'm ready for battle, prepared for the worst and expecting the best. Today I get the PICC line and tomorrow a final check with the rad. dr. I will relax this weekend, watching my grandaughters softball game and Sunday friends are taking me out to dinner then I'll be ready!!Last year cancer won the fight with my husband but I'm winning this one.

And you will...
You will win this one!! Enjoy your weekend and I bet you will be surprised to see you will enjoy many more even during treatment. Everyone reacts differently at different times, but your positive attitude will surely help. Remember there is no question too silly to ask here, and tho we are not docs its nice to have insite from people who have really been through the same things. I am 1yr post treatment and feel I have a new strength and sense of peace that I never had before, this is one of the positive side effects of this journey! You will be in our thoughts and prayers!0
