Megace didn't work for my sister
Hi Faith21,
I am not a health professional so I can't give you any advice on how much megace you should take but share my sister's story with you.
Last April my sister had a polyp removed but later the doctor found she had grade 1 endometrial carcinoma. She then started 9 month megace + IUD (only the last 3 months)but it didn't work for her and her cancer cell became grade 3 from the result of her last D&C. She then had her uterus removed 8 weeks ago and was staged grade 3/1A right after the surgery but just couple days ago the doctor found the cancer has spread to her lung/liver/pelvic and now she is staged grade 3/stage4B. We don't know why the cancer changed from grade1/stage 1 to grade 3/stage4B within 12 months. It's devastating as we're still coping with this horrible news.0
