the starting dose is 5 mg tid
and u can increase to 10 mg tid. the ten week thing is just that it can take that long to respond to the drug. i tried salagen in the first year after mr rads, back in 1998. it didnt work for me but i eventually got my saliva back anyway. what is the expensive part of importing this Ray? -

I was on pilocarpine. It worked quite well. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. I tried 5 mg and it works just right. I tried 10 mg and it was too much. My whole body began to perspire (saliva was great), but it made me feel very jittery at this dosage. Perhaps it would not have been so if I had slowly built up.
I no longer use it, as my saliva has returned, not totally the way it was, but enough to lick a stamp, and that's good enough for me.
Good luck Ray. -
