You are in my thoughts as are all the stage 4s Glad you are pain free most important thing hope you have some quailty of life. For me quality is foremost care less about quantity (highly overrated)My trusty jack russell CC(criss cross) and I managed to navigate Home depot get a lawn mower on our own and get it home to mow great day They say I am stage 4 inooperable not curable and yet I continue to continue on.My dad ( an Irish man and Captain in the navy on submarines) always said "I aint dead yet stop checking my pulse" he died of bladder cancer at home pain free and very funny til the very end.Keep a going as my irish grandmother used to say and/or may the spirits guide you well as my other french canadian indian grandmother would say. Its all the same at the end of the day how was your day?I hope and pray it was good. I think of all that is right and good no sense in dwelling on the negative .KEEP A GOING may you have pleasant dreams and a host of good supportive friends. MegMac and trusty jack russell CC Oh yes the beach was awesome today very scary on the early morning fairway walk lots of red foxes on the prowl -
Hi Sam
Sam:
God certainly works in mysterious ways. When I look back to the time I first posted on this site, little did I know that God was leading me to my new lifetime heroes. Until this site, whenever I heard someone asked who their hero was, I often wondered who truly was my hero. I never had answer.
I do now - you, Sam, and I'm afraid to name names in fear that I would forget someone, you Esophageal Cancer warriors and caregivers are my heroes. You make me laugh, you make me cry, you send encouragement, you send cyber hugs, positive mojo, suggestions, phone numbers to call if needed, and the list goes on of what you send. Most of all you send the courage to make it through this battle with grace. You are my hero and I thank God for you and everyone on this site.
I love you Sam,

Please send your message again under new topic. It should be at the top of your page.
I'm so sorry that you find yourself here although there is a wealth of help and support
here for you.
If you send your message under 'new topic', more people will see it and respond accordingly. The discussion boards here are really informative, if a little daunting.
I know William will be able to help you a lot and so will lots of other long time survivors.
I am just a carer for my husband, who also has EC, and we are in England, so the system
here will be very different to you if you are in the USA.
I will pray for you and hope that you will get all the help you need. If you have specific
questions, I am happy to try and answer them if I can.
On the left of the page you will see 'chat'. Once you are registered, you can join in and lots of people will talk to you and try and help you.
Take care of yourself.
Love and hugs,
Marci x -
Sam, Great to hear from
Sam, Great to hear from you! I had been wondering how you were doing as we hadn't heard any hews for a while. Thanks for checking in and keeping us up to date we all appreciate it. It is good to hear that your pain is being well managed and yet you're not feeling sedated or loopy. You're in my prayers daily.
