Kansas Spring Football
Going to the KU Spring Football game Saturday afternoon. Planning a tailgate party and just enjoy being out in the beautiful weather. Supposed to be 67 degrees and sunny, so it should be spectacular. I know the tailgate will be great -- hope the football is!0 -
Have to put the house back
Have to put the house back together after getting new carpeting. I am just in awe of how much stuff I can fit into a closet.
After that is done i will be trying to talk hubby into painting. Wish me luck, and have a wonderful weekend no matter what you're doing. (Pepe, have fun on the beach)
Hugs,

going visiting
My wife and I are excited to visit our kids in Cincinnati. We cant wait to see the grandbaby...haven't seen her since Easter. Everyone says she has changed a lot in just a few weeks. Its a 3 hour drive for us which isn't to bad. Pray we all have a great weekend. Jeff0 -
ahhhh... my favorite post of the week!!!!!
pepe... thanks again for posting this each week. I contiue to love to hear what everyone is doing and I encourage everyone to chime in and share. You might share an idea for others and maybe pick up an idea or two.
for me, i'm hosting a sleep over for four 11 year old girls.
my wife is going out with a friend to dinner who needs some help with some personal problems so my wife will become a counselor tonight. and, that's good for both ladies.
Two of my sons and i will head up to Michigan to check on the cottage and put our jet ski's in the water. It'll be cold, but they are invincable teenagers.
my third son has his senior prom so we'll take the prom-pics and enjoy that and kick him out he door for some fun.
besides that, i plan to eat as much as i can... drink my boost shakes each day and get ready for my 3rd round of 8 weeks of chemo that begin on Tuesday.
oh yeah... i hope to take walks each day and take in a funny movie if i can find one. Any recommendations???
my best to everyone.

I hope the weather is sunny and warm and that you feel well enough to enjoy this weekend with your family. I'm hoping to have my little girls Friday, Saturday is a work day, but that leaves Sunday open....if I lived alittle closer I'd stop by for a chat...!
Enjoy the girls!

bi annual Pete's alive BBQ in park with family and friends
It close to the 2 year's since diagnosis.
I am leaving vegan health retreat Sunday 4am with a 7 hour drive to the BBQ. I have to tell my friends I am a vegan now. This should get some jokes. I was famous for being the KFC, pizza and icecream king.
I hope you are well pepe.
Hugs,
Pete

I plan on smiling this weekend
Pepe,
I am able to start walking again outside after my hip/back fracture ~ it just makes me smile when I put my tennis shoes on and winter mittens...oh the hands still are always cold and numb...but in mittens they are warm! Last night when my husband came home from work I asked him to dance with me in the kitchen...I think he thinks I am crazy somedays but when you smile the day is a beautiful thing! So we danced in the kitchen while supper was cooking! I think that will be my goal as well tonight and tomorrow night. Sometimes the simple luxuries of daily life and weekend life are the small things we can share together!
Smiles to all of you from Minnesota ~ "Minnie"0 -
