Lung Nodules

I have a question about lung nodules. I had a CAT scan done back in Nov and 2 nodules showed up (very small). The Dr said this does happen and he doesn't think its anything, but I need to follow up with another scan to make sure they don't grow. I had the follow up 2 months later and they didn't change in size. He said this was good because if it was cancer it would have grown. Now I am due for my next scan and I'm nervous, has any one had nodules show up on scans and it not be cancer?

Me! I have two in the right lung that have been there for at least three years, no change, didn't react to chemo one way or the other. Dr.'s called them "body junk". Everyone has body junk somewhere that crop up for no reason. One Dr. said they were like left-over skin cells that are there from the begining or like skin tags, appear for no reason. Keep the faith, no stress, it's bad for you! Best, Debrajo

Thank you, I appreciate your response... scan time is always so stressful, and you're right, stress is bad for you!
