Good results

I received the results of my PET/CT today. I am happy to say that no hypermetabolic activity was noted and all of my nodes are returning to normal size. The doctor said that we will do 11 more rounds of the chemo with scans after round 4 and round 11. At the end of round 11, if everything looks as it does today we will consider it in remission. I know that as an IVb this is unlikely but I still have some hope. I've already received more than I expected so I'll be happy with whatever I end up with.

    You ARE another Rockstar!
    Jimbo!

You are indeed another Rockstar - you have an amazing attitude and I just love that in you. That's as good a report you can get and I'm so happy you did!

Hope the weather is warming up your way and you are able to get out and enjoy nature. Sending you and the Mrs. big hugs and continued positive mojo.

    Hugs and FEC,
    Judy

    Great News!!!
    Jimbo,

It is good to hear that the scan results are what you hoped for. Hoping the remaining rounds of chemo go well and the final results are "remission". I know it has been a long journey. I will be praying for more good results!!
