Chemo...
Hi Denise,
I'm sorry this treatment is so hard on you. How many rounds do you have to do? Darn stuff really messes with our bodies and rough as heck on us. I'll keep you and your daughter in my prayers. Sure wish you didn't have the added stress with your daughters situation and State involvement, but as we know all too well...life goes on, with or without cancer! Hang in there friend and try to focus on keeping yourself as calm as possible...I know, it's hard! Much love...Sue (FNHL-2-3A-6/10)0 -

Hey Denise,
I still have pain in my hips and knees, and not near as much energy as I would like, but with that being said, I'd say overall I feel pretty good. I met with my doctor last Tuesday and he went over my scan results with me and explained everything. In his opinion I am doing good with nothing to worry about. The scattered calcification deposits are apparantly normal for my age group..(61). I have some degeneration in my spine, but there's not much I can do there since most of the problems are caused from my birth defect..Klippel Feil Syndrome. So...overall, he said I am good to go for another year unless something pops up that looks suspicious. Works for me! You hang in there Denise and remember the chemo treatments will end eventually and then things will start getting better. I'll be thinking of you, and be sure to get back with us after your May Dr. appointment. Love ya....Sue
