In the Hospital

Just an update. I finished my 6 treatments of R-chop for MCL. My oncologist odered a CT scan and they wanted more so they ordered a PET scan which showed cancer still in the groin. He handed me off to Dr Phillips at the Wilmont Cancer Center in Rochester because he is the doc doing the stem cell transplant. As I type this I am in the hospital going through R-dhap. They say hopefully this will get rid of the cancer remaining as with none the chance of a longer remission after transplant is better.

Good luck...
Hi Steve,
I'll be keeping good positive thoughts for the R-DHAP to get rid of the remaining cancer. Hopefully with the transplant you will have many, many, many years of remission! Keep us posted on how things go for you. Take care and best wishes...Sue (FNHL-2-3a-6/10)0
