Kevin and I are leaving tomorrow a.m. for beautiful Kauai. I'm sure you all understand how much we need this trip right now. With me being rediagnosed with bone mets a couple of months ago and now on a new treatment, the stress level has been a 10 on many days. The ocean is my absolute favorite place, and the ocean on Kauai is very, very special.

I will keep you all in my prayers and meditations, sending the peace and calmness of spirit that the islands have.

    Stick your toes in the sand for me~ and let the waves wash over you! I love Hawaii so very much. The smell of the islands, the sound of the beach, birds...etc. I pray that you will be so refreshed while you are away~

    Oh Renee how lovely, we just got back from there on the 9th! Soak up the us, relax while listening to the ocean waves, enjoy all those silly roosters and don't forget to have some Hula Pie at Dukes!

    I hope you and Kevin have a trip of a lifetime and can totally forget the cancer for the time you are there. Just enjoy he beach and eachoher. Everything else will still be here when you vet back.

    So just enjoy every minute. I am so happy that you can do this.

    wow have a great time...We went to Hawaii for our honeymoon..almost 27 yrs ago. We will go back again sometime..but such a long flight from NY...

    Hi Renee -- You are probably on your way there or already landed. I'm glad you are enjoying yourself and getting away from everything. Meditation by the water, close to nature, nothing like it. I wish I could join you! I need my time off- and that's coming. In the meantime, have the best time!
