Just venting!

I lost my husband 14 months ago to esopageal/stomach cancer and 6 months prior I lost my Mum to cancer and wasn't able to be with her in England as I was caregiving my husband. I had a trip to England planned for next month and now I have been diagnosed with anal cancer and have to cancel my trip to start chemo and radiation treatment. Without my best friend, we had been married 38 years, I am finding it difficult to face this fight and it is bringing back sad memories, same oncologist, same chemo that my husband had a really bad reaction to. It is all scary but I will stay positive and get through this new challenge.
Thanks for listening I know everyone on this board has their own troubles to deal with.

    Thinking of You
hello and welcome to our caregivers discussion board. You are not alone here. Also visit the Anal cancer discussion board. It helps a whole lot to be able to speak with people on the same page as you. I was a caregiver for my dad. He passed from EC with mets to the liver in March 2010. I can relate to you. Continue to stay positive. Lean on God. God never gives us too much to handle. Come to me all that are heavy laden and trevail, and I will comfort you. Keep in touch.
