I am just wondering if anyone has heard anything from Kerry23?
She was having a lower lobectomey by VATS on 4/1/12. I have not yet heard from her.
If anyone as, could you please let me know if she is ok? I am saying prayers for her, but
just need to know she is ok.
Blessings and Prayers to you all!
Ellen

Recovering from Vats, thank you, for your concern, I am better. It is a highly recommended surgery. The first two days are the toughest, after that it gets easier day by day. I wrote you Ellen

I was doing well for the 3 weeks than started getting exhausted but that could be pain meds and now I just woke up with sharp pain in chest and back especially when breathing. I am not coughing. I wonder what this could be, I go back to dr. tomorrow, if I can wait that long. I am getting night sweats, not too bad last night, again, could be pain meds.
How are you feeling now. Did you have two incisions or three. I had a great surgeon but terrible bedside manner.

    Still in pain
Hola Kerry, I'm also experiencing the same symptoms. My surgeon at Columbia informed me that the pains will b like a roller coaster ( great), He said that All VATS pt's go thru this. I get sweats n coldness. I'm also very sleepy during the afternoon, I will nap for 3-4 hrs a day, even on days were I don't take my meds..

One thing is I haven't been able to sneeze. Have u experienced this?

    Prayers to u
