Sympathetic Pain?

in Anal Cancer #1
Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else. I'm about three weeks status post my last surgery, and all of a sudden this morning I developed a horrific spasm in my lower back, in the area of the lumbosacral junction. Since I just happened to have an appt with my primary MD today I told him about it, and he thinks it might be a "sympathetic" reaction to the surgery, even though it's not at the surgical site. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem?

    Could it be that since the surgery you've been lying down a lot? Or in a different way than normal? I know I often have different pains and aches when I do something different than from the usual way I do it...just a thought. Hope you feel better.
