Melanoma metastisized to liver and lungs

I recently received confirmation that spots on my liver and lung are from an original melanoma tumor that I had removed in October 2009. I was 36 when if found the original spot. It was stage II level IV and had spread to one lymph node. That node was removed and benign. I have had routine scans every three months since. In September of 2011 the spot on my lung appeared. In December there was no change to that spot but a new spot appeared on my liver. March 2012 brought significant growth to the liver spot, a new liver spot and the original lung spot doubled. I am now 38, a wife, mom of three boys and scared beyond belief. I am trying to stay positive, but most of the information I have found on the internet is not promising.
My doctor mentioned several treatment options, the most likely IL-2. Is there anyone out there that can shed some light and hope???

sorry no one has responded to you yet...it doesn't seem like this forum is really busy..
maybe try something like http://forum.melanomaintl.org/toastforums/toast.asp or some other melanoma forum that has lots of traffic, as i hate to see someone go unreplied to!
i think there's just not that much traffic on this particular forum!
