stomach really bloated, and painful like ulcer feeling ,are this normal symptoms while on folfox ?.

    It could be Ascites.

    Please see your doctor soonest, and ask for an ultrasound to be done.

    had pet scan last Wednesday, nothing in there beside my lymph
    nodes shrinking, I think is more a question of chemo, actually in the morning no bloated it's after my coffee and lunch!

    Glad to hear that pet scan showed good results.

    Try eliminating the caffine and see if that helps.

    I get gas,and stomach cramps,but i'm also doing avastin,and oxipalatin.The last time i did chemo,i took gas pills with simethicon.That helped me alot,you may want to try that.Good luck.

    Hi Pepe, I don't have any answer for you, I haven't had that chemo. combination, but I find now my stomach is happy if I just eat a large salad for lunch, with tuna. Anything else I feel bloated till dinner time. So happy your nodes are shrinking and you had a good CT scan.
