20 Years....
We got our 20th anniversary today... incredible! Thought to celebrate this under better circumstances but we will make the best of today. Just in time the tourism bureau of our hometown Cologne has invented a nice campaign: It is called "My hotel Colonia" and enables inhabitants of the city to stay in the local 5* hotels for really low prices ( 55€ instead of 270 € are rally nice :-) ). So we will "travel" about 3 km now in the heart of Cologne and stay one night in the 5* "Dom Hotel" direct next to the famous cathedral. http://www.lemeridiendomhotelkoeln.com/de/gallery :-)
A really nice easter weekend to all of you

This time of year with the church services is really a moving time (for me). Our pastor is fantastic at explaining history.
There are usually many tears......just so amazing.
I will think of everyone here and pray for us. I remember everyone here ( i guess chemo hasn't affected my memory yet), even those that may have only posted once or twice. It seems, EVERYONE's journey resonates with me.
Blessings to ALL.0 -

... and it was quite cool...
We enjoyed a really nice stay, slept well, listened to the impressive sound of the cathedrals bells, thereunder the largest (horizontally-mounted) freely-swinging ringable bell in the world. WOW, what a sound!!! Even impressive to someone not religious as me.
And the breakfast was incredible. At least 10 diffrent fresh juices, lots an lots of fruit an every thing you can think of. So we spent 2 hours feasting :-)
But apart from that it was much too noble to stay longer. We prefere more "budget" kinds of stay :-) without so many glamorous people around... We are more backpacker than tourist :-)
Don't know if you are able to see the pics I postet in FB e.g. our "small" balcony...
