Spots on liver and lung

I was diagnosed with malignant melanoma in September 2009 at the age of 36. It was stage II Level IV. It had spread to one lymph node, but was benign. During a routine CT scan in September of 2011 a 3mm spot appeared on my right lung. Scans in December 2011 showed no change to the spot on my lung but another spot appeared on my liver. Scans in March 2012 showed the liver spot had "grown significantly" and the spot on the lung is now 6mm. I had a biopsy on Thursday and more test/scans scheduled for Monday. Needless to say, I am SCARED TO DEATH! Everything I have read is grimm. I need some hope! is there anyone that has experienced this same situation or something similar???
