Bad news Good News
Avastin and Folfox every 14 days. Since Sept 11 I have been on CPT. I don't look forword to the side effects but as long as it does it thing I'm okay with it. The day today was really long all day treatment, went home with the pump. Go back Thursday and get a Neulasta shot on Friday. I pray for all of us and may we have good days...as bad as the news is my daughter and brand new grandbaby drove here from Cincy Oh. My daughter came to treatment and it made things easier. Jeff

Dear Jeff
Sorry your news wasn't better, but it sounds like you found the bad stuff soonest.
How wonderful that daughter and grandbaby were able to come for a visit, even on a treatment day.
Wishing you best results on the new chemo, so you can get to that planned trip to the orient.
Hugs,
Marie who loves kitties0 -

Though none of us "deserve" to have cancer, it seems especially unfair when someone as steady and supportive as you always seem to be on this board reports a setback. Good to hear the old tumors are not growing and that new mets caught early and that you have a plan. Hope your next report all good news. Enjoy your family -->Only good thing about cancer is how it makes each happy moment shine all the brighter.0 -

So sorry that your news was not better. This krap is just so unpredictable. I hope you are feeling well enough to enjoy the time with your daughter and new grandbaby.
Your planned trip sounds like it will be very exciting and I hope it is not marred by any new side effects from the chemo. My hubby was offered a very good job in Singapore about 30 years ago, but I guess I was too afraid to go and leave my career and elderly mother behind.
Of course, looking back now, what an opportunity I missed.LOL
Take care,
Luv,
