eliminate the scan from the 26th
measure the difference in size/appearance from the two remaining scans if possible. I have lung nodules as well as thyroid nodules. This kind of stuff keeps me up at night. Always get copies of your scans and read them. You will learn that no two radiologist read anything the same nor do they note the same anomalies. At this point you just don't have enough information in any direction. Thoracic surgeon is routine follow-up for this situation. I cannot speak to the aspiration and it's relation to scan results. Perhaps someone with aspiration experience will come along? Hold your ground! -

I should have been a little more specific Rat. The Chest CT from June where they found the same "ground glass" type spot then was in my upper left lobe. That is what was gone in the F/U scan in December as well as nothing found anywhere in my lung. It was this time they spotted a simillar type spot on the lower middle part of my right lobe. The Radioologist read was "ground Glass" in appearance indicating possible scar tissue/inflamation. No Metastatic Disease noted.
Thanks fo the reply.

Is a big deal in my book and sounds like it may be something to hang your hat on for a little while. -
