Good luck, Don and Judy!TerryV said:We're with you in spirit, Judy
Many of us have had that same waiting room experience. Time will pass much faster than you think.
Prayers for a good day for both Don and you!
With much love and many hugs,
Terry
You'll be in my thoughts and prayers today. Please keep us posted!0 -
Judy and Don
I chatted with Judy briefly last night via facebook and they were definitely ready to get this ball rolling. She said Don was feeling good, looks good and was ready to go. Their daughter was with them and they were staying in a room close to the hospital because they had to be there early this morning.
I join you all in prayer for a positive outcome.

Ok Dad! I got your message loud and clear LOLunknown said:This comment has been removed by the Moderator
Sorry William - I worried so much about Freida and Bill and Jerry Wright and A1Phil - just waiting to hear their news - so I know how you feel - I apologize to make you worry like that and if you were my dad, I would accept your grounding me.
It is wonderful to have others truly be concerned and pulling for you - I have no excuse to not post earlier - BUT (who does that remind you of?lol) - Don really is doing well - we don't have the pathology report yet and Dr. Reddy intended to do an MIE approach with Don but ended up doing the full THE because for some reason Don's blood pressure dropped after the first hour so they didn't want to take any longer than completely necessary and apparently the MIE is a bit a slower surgery.
Anyway - sorry to worry Mom and Dad like that and others too - I take good sleeping pills and did wake up with the laptop still on this morning - so I did have intentions just didn't follow through. They make rounds here between 6am and 7am (the surgical PA's and staff/residents) and you never know what time the surgeon is coming in - so I spend most of the morning waiting for rounds - then come back to room take a nap and repeat. I haven't taken the laptop to his room yet - but I will maybe tomorrow or Monday - it's kinda heavy and there have been at least 3 to 5 of us in his room - today our girlfriend went home and tomorrow Caitlin will go home - so it will just be me and a bit more quiet. I WILL keep you all posted - thinking maybe we can go home Wed, Thurs this week - but one day at a time.
Thank you for caring so much - I do know you truly are concerned and we truly appreciate that!
Love and hugs,
Judy0
